This is a fantasitc idea! I was wondering if anyone was utilizing such a
wonderful resource tool as this book in their classrooms...... Any additional in
formation on how this bookhas been
utilized would be appreciated.

Hi Shana Chambers:

When I was education officer at an Art Gallery several years ago a
grade four teacher at a nearby school did the book (as he did every
year) and then came to the gallery with his class. We, too, did not
have the wonderful furniture and fountains but the kids really enjoyed
visiting "behind-the-scenes" and becoming familiar with the layout.
I developed maps of the gallery for their use, as I recall, so they
could become familar with the physical space as well as the
collection.
