Don't forget Margaret Mead and the American Museum of Natural History,
Hilla Rebay and the Guggenheim and Gertrude Vanderbilt Whitney. Also,
Marcia Tucker, founder of the New Museum, Susan Vogel of the Met and
Center for African Art and Agnes Gund, president of the Modern. They've
had a great deal of influence on contemporary museums. Vera List as well
for her deep pockets for funding the unfundable.
