I guess this is a "Dear John" letter-
Speaking from a calligraphy/graphic artist point of view:
        Upper and lower case is much easier to read than all caps.
        Generally the longer the line, the more distance necessary between
lines; this space is the "track" your eye follows to get back to the
beginning of the next line.
        A condensed type is easier to read in long lines than a wider, more
open letter style.
        Keep it short.  People don't read any more than they can help it
unless they are compulsive readers like me.  That's why it takes me so long
to get through my e-mail - can't bear to let any word go unread.
