Fundraising takes one kind of knack; caring for and exhibiting the collection
takes another. Rarely can one person do it all.
   The director should stick to fundraising and trust the curators do their
jobs effectively.  A control freak in charge will soon find themselves
without any professional staff with graduate degrees, willing to put up
with pittances and no benefits.
   Divide the work, and allow each staff to do what best suits them.
