Why would you restrict contributions to the new time capsule to not
include plastics?  Some plastics are stable enough that they will not
damage other items in the capsule and survive themselves.  Of course, any
attempt to give an adequate refleciton of late 20th century life must
include plastics (even if we consider that infoprtunate , it remains true).
