I've noticed this too.  It seems that programs and commercials think they
have found a niche in making adults (especially parents and the elderly)
look stupid.  It may seem funny on the outside, but it's indicative of a
growing problem with respect of others.  TV has been showing kids that they
don't need to respect their parents, adults, authority, laws, etc.  But I
could go on about this for awhile, so I better quit.
