The Baltimore Museum of Art seeks a full-time Technical Support Associate to be
the primary resource for BMA staff in matters relating to the Museum's computer
hardware and software, including installation, maintenance, and upgrading of
desktop DOS/Windows and Macintosh systems, file servers, printers, backup
drives, and communications devices; and to multiple applications (WordPerfect,
Microsoft Word, Q&A, Novell NetWare, Notework, etc.).

The Technical Support Associate will advise and train the staff, assist in
planning the Museum's ongoing equipment and network improvements, and ensure
that purchases are timely and cost-effective. Will oversee the Museum's Local
Area Network.

Qualified candidates must possess excellent teaching skills and ability to
assess new applicaitons; hands-on repair and installation experience; and budget
management capability. Arts or Humanities background a plus.
