Many of the issues in this thread have been the subject of recent
discussions on the CNI-Copyright listserv. The topic of copyright
infringement on the www and questions related to linking home pages may be
found there discussed with greater authority than in the recent discussion
here on museum-l.

I'd recommend interested parties refer to the CNI-Copyright archives. These
may be reached by gopher as follows:

Address: gopher.cni.org

path: cniwg/forums/cni-copyright

I believe the above is correct; it may be a bit old.

NOTICE and REMINDER:
Individuals planning to submit papers for the Copyright Issue of VISUAL
RESOURCES are urged to send in their abstracts and/or papers as soon as
possible. The formal deadline of Nov 30 is passed. In the near future it
will be too late for articles to be considered.
