Could anybody out there tell me about the following historical veterans
organizations? I know they were affiliated (?) with the G.A.R., but I
haven't found about their origin, when there were changes, when they
folded, etc. Any clues, directions to some web pages, or specific books
would be great. The groups are:
Old Soldiers and Sailors
Old Soldiers Association
Soldiers and Sailors

Also, the "Ladies Circle" of the G.A.R. (NOT the W.R.C. but a separate group).
