To all ACUMG members in the southeastern region.

 SEMC has put out a final call for prpposals for sessions at the annual
conference to be held at Jeckle Island, Ga, October 16-19, 1996. SEMC is
encouraging proposals that utilize different program formats: that take
advantage of local sites (beaches, marshes, historic distric, or that
address topics in ways that are unique to southeastern museums.  If you
have not thought about participating, now is your chance. I am on the
program committee, so ACUMG proposals will have a strong supporter! Be
creative and lets get ACUMG on the program.  However, you must work
quickly. Proposal submission deadline is February 1. You all should have
received a the proposal information in the latest SEMC Update. If not
you can get a copy from SEMC offices.  Your imput and participation can
make a difference!
