You might contact Elliot Sivovitch at the National Museum of American
History, Smithsonian Institution in the Division of Electricity which
collects electrical  and kitchen appliances. He may know about this
type of appliance or have a trade catalog with information about it.
His tel number is 202 357 1840. I don't think he is on line with e-
