I am not a graduate of any museum studies programs (I have been in the field
for 24 years, instead); however, I am the employer of a large number of GW
grad. students at my institution in Washington, and have found them to be
excellent workers.They are well grounded in the field, willing to work on
even the most grungy of projects, plus - they were always great to work with!
And a couple of them have turned into  really fine employees.
