This message is mostly aimed at the question about western materials in Eastern
museums.

This is actually Tim Campbell, not Raelyn Campbell; Raelyn is my wife and is all
owing me to use her e-mail account at the Unversity of Tokyo to keep in touch wi
th the rest of the world.  I am currently a Visiting Researcher at the Universit
y Museum, The University of Tokyo.

I'll look around a little; I am in Japan studying Japanese museology for the nex
t year and a half. (Hi Paul, if you read this!)  I know the director of the Univ
ersity Museum here at the University of Tokyo has a fascination for Greek and Ro
man antiquities and planned/plans to borrow some for a future show, so I will tr
y and see where he was/is going to borrow from; maybe they have something like w
hat you are interested in, too.  You never know; the University Museum actually
has a lot of stuff from Syria.

I can't promise fast results, though - I don't speak much Japanese yet...fun, fu
n, fun.
