I am an intern at the Illinois State Museum, and my primary duty is
to manage A Place for Discovery, our interactive room for children. The
collection of the museum focuses on anthropology, fine arts, decorative
arts, and natural sciences.
I would like to do some evaluation on the room to find out what works, a
nd
what does not. The room is usually staffed with volunteers, and they have
differing opinions on the subject.
My question is this - What type of evaluation is done in discovery rooms
?
Who does the evaluation? How are school groups evaluated as opposed to
families?
I appreciate answers on the list or directly to me.
