A posting last week on the subject of the Communications Decency Act included
information on how to receive resources from the Voters Telecommunication Watch
(VTW). In attempting to retrieve the CDA FAQ via e-mail, I learned that the
archive materials have been moved to a different automated file server.
The new address is [log in to unmask], and below I append the instructions for
retrieving them (the instruction file will be sent in response to any message to
the server that does not follow the syntax for requesting a specific file).
Thanks to Shabbir Safdar and Steven Cherry of VTW for this update.

The VTW file archive has not recognized your request. A few important
details:
-all requests have to be in the subject line to work
-requests should contain a keyword from the list below
-turnaround is usually pretty fast, but if you don't get an
answer, that's because Panix's mail system has queued it.
-each letter to [log in to unmask] retrieves one file. You cannot
request three files in one request
-all keywords are in lower case
You will always get an answer back, either the file you requested or
this error message. If you get stuck, you can always send mail to
[log in to unmask] with an emtpy subject line and you'll get this file.
Note that all files available through email are also available through
World Wide Web at:
URL:http://www.vtw.org/
and through Gopher at:
gopher -p1/vtw gopher.panix.com
If you get extremely stuck, send mail to [log in to unmask] where a human will
try to help you. Please remember that we're extremely overburdened
with mail already.
-Shabbir
Requests to [log in to unmask] must contain a file's "keyword" in the subject
line. The syntax for the following list is:
keyword
name of the file
keyword
name of the file
