Dear folks:

The Dawson City Museum is going through the "dreaded" exercise of establishing
evaluations for insurance purposes of its collection and support materials.

This collection includes four turn-of-the-century narrow gauge locomotives in
various degrees of disrepair/restoration. One, a Baldwin Vauclain compound
engine, is reputed to be one of a two extant.

IF there is someone who can guide me in establishing a value for these, and
other pieces of industrial machinery, please let me know. Any institution
with like pieces in its collection which can share experience, or the names of
consultants who can provide reputable evaluations, would be helpful.

thanks in advance
