Subject: Position Open
The Denver Museum of Natural History has the following position open. The
Adult Programs Manager is responsible for working with the curatorial staff
to develop programs for teenagers through adults in Natural History. More
than 50% of the programs are in paleontology but it is likely that offerings
in other disciplines will increase.

Adult Program Manager
The Denver Museum of Natural History seeks a dynamic and experienced
department manager of adult programs with strong organizational and
management skills. Will direct planning and development of over 300 public
programs per hear for adults, families and children, including community
outreach, lectures, symposia, courses workshops and travel study for the
Museum membership of 35,000 and the 6 county Denver metro communities. Will
also design and implement selected programs.
Posiition responsibilities include all aspects of administration including
financial management and long-range planning, supervise five full-time
staff, oversee volunteer structure, develop fund-raising and marketing
strategies, oversee support operations and classroom facilities.
Candidate must be an experienced professional with a strong background in
program development, marketing and management. Advanced degree preferred.
Demonstrated leadership and communication skills in a nonprofit organization
with 3-5 years of supervisory experience required.
