Management" January 22-26, 1996.
The Smithsonian's Center for Museum Studies repeats its popular one-week
workshop for museum administrators seeking opportunities to reflect on
fundamental management concerns and formulate responsive plans.
Participants will
* develop a planning document to define mission, objectives, strategies and
action plans
* learn hw to develop and maintain productive relationships with board members,
volunteers, staff and community members
* analyze the security, fire, safety, and environmental needs of the physical
plant, collection and sites

The workshop fee of $275.00 covers tuition, instructional materials, a group
meal and transportation to selected workshop sites.
