Position Opening - - Museum Director
The Elgin Area Historical Society seeks a part-time
director (25-30 hours per week, some weekends) to
develop and refine a vision for the Elgin Area Historical
Museum's future, as well as to promote, maintain, and
facilitate daily operations.  Must have three to five years
museum experience with a diverse knowledge of museum operations.
Prefer candidate with a master's degree in historical
administration or related field.  Starting salary range $15,000
