I do not work for an institution at this time that faces NAGPRA regulations.
I did, however work previously for the American Indian Program, at the
Natural History museum at the Smithsonian and did much research on the
interpretation of NAGPRA from a federal institution standpoint as well as
examine the addendum to NAGPRA as supplied by the Museum of the American
Indian. As I have repeatedly implied, the intent of NAGPRA is not at fault!!
