YES!
We use an Australian product called 'TexPress' from Knowledge Engineering
on 5 AIX servers feeding 200 ood pc's.
It's a dbms rather a custom designed collections management system. We've
been using it for about 10 years and are pretty happy with it (it has
changed out of all recognition over that time).
The latest bells and whistles include Windows API's and an HTML extension
to allow search results to be returned to a Web page etc..> >
