I was reading the note about letting people know about a museum web site URL
by putting it on Yahoo, etc.. It occured to me that many of the web sites I
have found were not on Yahoo but included in a web page as other www sites of
interest. I started out in Yahoo and went from one page to another rather
than going back to Yahoo each time. It seems to me that the best way to
advertise a virtual museum is to get people to link it with as many pages as
possible. Get people to add it to their home pages, get Universities to add
links to it, link to other museums and so on.
