        Hello Homer.  You might try resources dealing with exhibit design.
 Part of the design process is the exhibit proposal, wherein are stated,
among other thing, the audience(s), budget and objectives.  Part of the
evaluation process involves determining if the exhibit has been successful
in terms of the criteria set out in the proposal:  has it been done within
the budget, successfully reached the target audiences, and has it met its
objectives? (for example)
        Off the top of my head, one such source is a book edited by R. S. Miles
et
al, "The Design of Educational Exhibits" which includes a chapter on
evaluative techniques.
