I do not know if my synapses are taking a solitary, but I
simply cannot recall artists/title of a well know piece.ANY
help would be appreciated.

Wood carving (bas) in Paris, early 20thc, I believe.

There are two panels the top panel of the carving
(c.3'x12') shows a woman and man, prone, making love.
The bottome panel shows the woman pulling the death
shroud over the man.

It was for mmany years in the Musuem of Modern Art de la
ville de Pairs (Blvd. Franklin D Rossevelt). It was moved
when the D'Orsay opened.
