   I agree with you: the idea of sending programs over the net along with
   all the other bandwidth hogging graphics, etc, seems a bit silly when
   its easier to keep the intelligence at the node with all the viewers,
   etc that one needs. Why download a new program for each new site? I'm
   not sure I understand the virtue of Java...
