[I apologize to cross-posting]

Hello all,

I'm interested in education, especially museum education, hands-on,
children and children's museum. I'm going to quit the present job and
find a new job in museum fields. I want to involve in progeammes for
childrens through views of hands-on.

I think the purpose of evaluations in museums are improving exhibits and
programmes. Evaluations have two functions. One is to evaluate. In order
to
evaluate, we need to have standards of evaluations, and to watch
exhibits
and programmes. The other is to make plans to improve. In order to make
plans,
we need to have experience and inspirations to realize the ways to
improve.
When we evaluate exhibits and programme, we don't forget the view points
of
education. Because museums have an educational function for children and
adults.

Evaluations are important in museum exhibits. Also important in
museum programmes. But I don't have information about programme
evaluations.
Does anyone know programme evaluations and exhibit evaluations?
Would you give me any imformation?
Would you tell me the relation between evaluations and education.
Everything will be helpful to me.

Thank you in advance for your reply.
Please contact me on this discussion list or directly.
