Just to chime in on this topic. I think that its fine for MCN to have
   a members' only list. They probably will find, however, that limiting
   the universe of participants in this way will make the list less
   varied, active, and stimulating. It will also be less diffuse, so it
   should be an efficient way to disseminate information
   relevant only to members.

   And I agree that the MCN-er's will undoubtedly keep us posted in
   topics of general interest.
