Does anyone know of any museums dedicated to chocolate or
>> candy? The OFFICIAL MUSEUM DIRECTORY does not have a category for food
>> museums.

There is indeed a chocolate museum in Hershey, Pennsylvania--a very good
one; the production plant no longer conducts public tours, however,
s'mores the pity--it was wonderful to see those huge vats of chocolate.
There is also another, smaller, chocolate/candy museum and factory store
in Lititz, Pennsyvania (about 35 miles east of Hershey, near Lancaster)
for the Wilbur Chocolate Plant (makes Wilbur Buds). When the plant is
"pouring and grinding" the whole town (and a charming one it is) smells
heavenly.
