    Electronic Journal is a new scholarly journal covering the full spectrum
    of sciences and arts. Rather than being published in conventional paper
    form, the journal will be made available as a quarterly set of "pages" such
as
    this one. Manuscripts will be accepted in any electronically-reproducible
    form (from ascii text to Java "applets"), though html is preferred. All
    manuscripts will be formally reviewed, in the manner customary for
    refereed journals, with acceptance conditional on reviewers' comments.
    Numbers will be released quarterly by the NYU Center for Digital
    Multimedia, and will be available across the Internet free of charge.
