Just for everyone's general information, the Foundation of the American
Institute for Conservation has a Conservation Referral Service.  They will
provide "Guidelines for Selecting a Conservator" along with a printout of
conservators for the specialization you would like in your area.   They can
be reached by calling (202) 452-9545 or by e-mail at [log in to unmask]

"Guidelines for Selecting Conservators" and other juicy information can also
be found through the Conservation On-line (Co-Ol) web page.
