The current opinion in State government and in naval circles certainly seems
to be fairly sure on this point.

It is to the point that serious negotiations on the eventual custody of the
vessel have gone on and fund-raising has begun to provide moneys to raise and
preserve it.

As Registrar of one of the possible venues for its display once raised, I am
taking a fairly close professiona interest in this issue and will post
information once things are a bit more settled.
