How about Buzz Spector?  I saw an installation at the Cleveland Contemporary
Art Center where he put the entire contents of his personal library around
the walls of the entire gallery (galleries, actually) from largest to
smallest in size and called it "LIBRARY"--invited the viewers to pick up
books and leaf through, then replace them.
