I am a user of Collection and have been very happy with it. The package is
powerful, flexible, and has some nice features not found in other packages.
Specifically, a powerful date tool, full text searching, integrated imaging
endlessly repeatable fields, etc. It is fully relational and incorporates
a detailed "Person" file that allows us to document the people related to
our objects in as much detail as the objects themselves..plus it is
a simple matter to relate the people to each other. Very important in a
local history collection. Vernon Systems provides unparalleled support to
their users. It's not free, however their turn around time for responces
to questions is impressive... often within 48 hours. I'm in the States
and they're in New Zealand which is an advantage. I send an e-mail on
Friday afternoon and have a response waiting on My Monday morning. Because
of the time difference, they've already been in the office a full day.

There are Collection users in the UK, Australia, New Zealand and the States.
I'd be happy to answer any questions about the program, either on or off
list.
