One reason that the Head-Smashed-In Buffalo jump site is so successful is
that they have worked quite closely with the first nations peoples on the
excavations and interpretation.

In fact, if I am not mistaken, they have a native elder "on staff" (so to
speak) who advises them and acts to make sure that things are done
properly from a spiritual perspective.

You can correct me if I am wrong on this point.
