I just want to point out to everyone on the list that the spam detector for
Museum-L has been working very well. It does sometimes stop legitimate
messages that are addressed to multiple lists, but it has managed to keep
the posting of the A-bomb blueprints off Museum-L.

Calling the guy a jerk is being too nice. I am sorry to say that he is from
Albuquerque. He started by listing his name, address, and home phone. He is
now using a P.O. Box from a mailbox company and calling it a Suite. His
phone is a voice messaging system from the local telephone company. He has
burned several Internet providers locally and he has resorted to using
aliases and having others obtain e-mail accounts for him.

The guy has caused lots of concern locally and one Internet service
provider here is contemplating legal action against him. Unfortunately, all
they can get him for is misrepresentating himself in obtaining an account
and violating the terms and conditions of his account. Basically small
claims court stuff.

Please, do not forward messages from Jeff Slaton to the list.

Thanks,

john chadwick
