EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR
 
The San Diego Historical Society seeks an Executive Director with
an advanced degree in history or museum studies and significant
experience as a key manager of a non-profit cultural institution.
Must have demonstrated skills as fund raiser/promoter together with
experience in financial management, budgeting, grant writing, supervision
of staff and volunteers, resolution of issues and fostering teamwork.
The Society operates four museums, develops numerous exhibits and
programs, operates a major public Research Archives, administers an
extensive collection of artifacts and publishes a quarterly journal.
Salary $50,000 to 60,000.  The Society, an Equal Opportunity Employer,
