I do not have the address and immediate info at hand (will send later)
but this is an extraordinary musuem located on the Montreal waterfront.
It opened, perhaps two years ago - a new building over the foundations
of early settlements and subsequent commercial structures.
Exhibiting "foundations" etc makes a special demand on the imagination
of exhibit designers - these people have pulled it off. This is one
of a number of very special musuems in Quebec the other two on my
list being the Centre for Architecture, again in Montreal and the
Museum of Civilization in Quebec City.
Calliere makes a very effective use of audio/visual presentations.
