FINANCE DIRECTOR
Henry Ford Museum and Greenfield Village, Dearborn, MI., is seeking an
energetic Finance Director with a proven record of financial management
expertise.  Must have excellent leadership skills and be a team-builder
 Position reports to the President of the Museum and has primary
responsibility for the organization's accounting practices and procedures,
financial operations and reporting to trustees, lending institutions,
regulatory agencies, and other interested parties.  This position directs the
treasury, budgeting, audit, tax, government compliance, accounting, legal and
insurance activities of the Museum.
The successful applicant will be an experienced and diplomatic professional
who will work well with the other senior management team members and
encourage and assist them to develop their business skills.
Qualifications:  The ideal candidate will have: 1) an advanced degree in
Finance, or Accounting, 2) eight to ten years experience in finance and
accounting, including a minimum of four years of management responsibilities,
3) a C.P.A. certificate is desired but not required.  The candidate should
also have experience with the selection, implementation and operation of
financial information systems.
