I have just recently been assigned the task of creating a set of
specifications for crates to ship artifacts.  The specs will be used to
obtain bids on constructing crates.  I am looking for any information on
materials(plywood thickness, type of lumber, etc) as well as any ideas on
building a better crate.
 
My deadline is relatively short.  I would like all responses by 2/28.
