Again, not to bash FilemakerPro, but the prelease information for version
2.0(it may have been 1.0 now that I think about it) claimed that it would
be fully relational and that turned out to be the lookup function.  I
delayed a major upgrade because of Claris' claims.  I've also been burned
by Claris in the past on several occasions most notabley with their
abandonment of Claris CAD and their HyperCard mishaps.
 
I also agree stronly with the comments about Filemakers printing ability.
Nothing is close for generating forms.  I frequently export things from
other databases just to be able to do reports in Filemaker.
