          Your request about the American-ness (and I use the term
          advisedly, do people have problems with all the Canadian
          posters as well?) was much easier to follow than that of the
          previous poster to whom I objected.  I would actually be
          curious to learn what general type of posting here on the
          list seems particularly US-centric, or what kind seems
          objectionably so. I really have been unaware of such a
          slant, or at least unaware that it might be perceived as
          problematic.
 
          An American, sort of, really a New Yorker.
