Holly Trimper, you are indeed missing something.  History.  You
may be excused for being a twentysomething GenXer, but not for
ignoring the world as it is.  And if you're interested in my
political "label" I'm a socialist who has usually voted Republican.
 
You are a starry-eyed idealist if you think that there are ways
to clear a name besmirched by a false positive.  You are sadly
mistaken if you think that petty folk will not abuse power, or
violate confidentiality, or commit other abuses made easy by
attitudes such as yours and policies such as the one under
discussion.
