Thanks Jack,
Does the artist retain some sort of "droit d'auteur" on the work so
that you can't alter the piece without his/her permission?
 
If any institution out there has a policy concerning
copyright (image, object, writing etc.) I'd like to hear about it.
Particularly if it involves international laws. And does this
fall in the area of documentation or the legal department? Where
do you keep the information?
