On September 4 I posted a query from a small museum
about software that would combine information about
artifacts and archival materials. I've been collecting
responses and have summarized for people who requested
it. I don't care to post the summary on the list, as
it refers to commercial products, but if anyone would
like to recieve it, contact me personally. My
conclusion after this exercise is that talking directly
to a user and studying information from a company would
help to make an informed decision. My summary is just
a brief overview of a *few* of the available products.
