Depending upon where you're located, commercial internet providers ought to
be able to supply you with disk space to put out a web page which can list
any information that would normally go out in a member's newsletter (e.g.
http://cwis.usc.edu:80/lacmnh/cal.html).  Of course, this information
reaches a very wide audience, so you need to advertise the location of your
web page in appropriate directories (like under city information).
 
You need to do some research to see who provides internet access in your
area, then pick the one the serves you best.  However, I noticed you have
an edu eMail address.  The institution that provides your eMail account may
also provide web (i.e. http/mosaic) services.
