I am a graduate student in museum studies. Currently, I am writing a
paper on "Forces of Change" in the museum world. Since my approach to
this broad topic focusses on new technology and how it is affecting
museums today, I thought I would take advantage of said technology
and ask those directly involved.

So, here is my question: how has technology (i.e. computers, networks,
electronic imaging, etc.) changed your approach to museum work, whether
it be administrative, collections, exhibits or education, in the past
few (two or three?) years?

If you'd care to reply to this, please e-mail responses to me at:

If there is a lot of interest in my results, I'll summarize them in a
post to the list.

By the way, if you do not wish to be quoted in my paper, please tell me.
I'll be interested in your responses either way.

Thank you very much!
