Is the journal you are looking for actually called "Public History"? or
do you mean the journal "The Public Historian: A Journal of Public History"?

That is published by the National Council on Public History. The Journal
contact is

Otis Graham, Editor
The Public Historian
Department of History
University of California
Santa Barbara, CA93106-9410

tel: (805) 893-3667 or 893-2224
fax: (805) 893-8795
email: [log in to unmask]
(That puts you in touch with Lindsey Reed, the managing editor.)

This is all information from the back of the Fall 1994 journal.

(The National Council on Public History administration offices are
not at UCSB, but here in Indianapolis, BTW.)

Hope that helps,
Carolyn Brady
