There was an excavation of a British soldier cemetary in Charlotteville Va
done back in the late 70s or early 80s.  As I recall, but I'm not sure since
I was nine at the time, the archaeologists uncovered several graves.
 
The archaeologists were connected with the University of Virigina.  Call
the Department, I'm sure they can help.
