DESCRIPTION
This seminar will focus on how and why many museums are increasingly using
the Internet as a tool for delivering their services. This seminar is
being held to satisfy the continued demand for information on the way
organizations are increasingly using the Internet to conduct a wide-range
of educational and business services.
AUDIENCE
This seminar is intended for museum, arts, and humanities professionals,
educational and business leaders, administrators, information services
liaisons and anyone else interested in the current and future issues of

DIRECTIONS TO BBN NEWMAN AUDITORIUM
** By Car **
Follow Route 128/95 to exit 29A (Route 2 East - Cambridge/Arlington).
Take Route 2 East toward Cambridge for about 6 miles.
The expressway portion of Route 2 ends at the Fresh Pond Parkway
(Routes 2, 3, and 16). You will see the Alewife MBTA station on your right.
Turn right onto Fresh Pond Parkway at the traffic lights - southbound. Pass
the MBTA station, go straight through two sets of traffic lights, and
proceed over the bridge.
Bear right at Fresh Pond Rotary onto Concord Avenue heading toward
Belmont.
Fawcett Street will be on the right a few hundred feet from the
rotary. There is a brick office building on the corner of Fawcett and
Concord.
Visitor parking is the second parking lot on the left after the
Pancake House parking lot, and the second parking lot on the right after
the parking lot for 10 Fawcett Street. Other BBN parking is on the left.
70 Fawcett Street is the second building on the right. Newman
Auditorium is just beyond the lobby on the left.
** By Public Transportation **
Take the Red Line to Harvard Station. Then take the 78 Arlmont
Village bus or 74 Belmont Ctr. bus, either one will bring you directly to
the Concord Avenue/Fawcett Street intersection.
Or, take the MBTA Red Line to ALEWIFE Station (on Cambridge Park
Drive) and use the BBN shuttle bus. To take the shuttle, walk to the end
of the street to the large building on your left (BBN, 150 Camb. Pk.
Drive), go to the entrance on the rear parking lot side of this building
for passenger pickup. The shuttle runs every 15 minutes between the
various buildings (except for a half hour break between 12:00-12:30).
