I apologize if I have seemed to be advertising my organization's services
-- we try to be extremely sensitive to the appearance of
self-advertisement, and I'm sorry that I apparently failed failed in some
eyes on this occasion.  Re-reading my postings to the list at large, I
note that I recommended first that the poster contact the AIC referral
service and a local museum for referral to a local conservator, noted the
availability of the geographically closest regional center (not my own),
and finally offered myself as a source willing to give advice on the
discipline I know (not the one required in this case).  I don't know how
to be more even handed.  Does CIPP have its own referral service, and
should I add that to my list?
